JOB was co-founded by Orin Lehman,

Eleanor Roosevelt, Bernard Baruch and Howard Rusk in 1947. At that time, the agency served veterans with disabilities who were ready to go back to work.
Today, JOB serves employers nationwide through its National Business & Disability Council (www.nbdc.com) and college students with disabilities through its Emerging Leaders Summer Internship Program (www.emerging-leaders.com) JOB recently entered into a partnership with Abilities!, a nationally recognized Long Island based organization.
